Hi ! I'm Pierre Moreau, a French studio photographer based in Paris (France) and Lausanne (Switzerland). I started photography by following the footsteps of my mum, but it truly became my passion after courses I followed during a stage in the New-York Socapa Art school, in 2011.
I am actually studying engineering sciences, as I love using my creativity at the service of a team, working on a project.
I totally adopt post-processing techniques to my photographs, either with digital images or with silver-based negatives, as I often try to obtain that precise creative image that had formed in my mind since the planning of the shoot.

Depending on the demand, I work with a make up artist and a hair design artist. Dayanara and Valérie are both skilled professional artists. They will enhance all your positive features while keeping your natural look.

As a committee member of the photo club at EPFL, I give classes from studio shooting to post-processing.

 

Why photeine ?

I wanted to create a word that would transmit the technic yet organic aspect of my photography. Photeine quickly came in mind, and I then found out on Google that "photeine" only exists in greek and means "the subjective aspect of light perception".
